From Zandenplas to Klimbos: an active day on the Veluwe

During the summer holidays, we visited De Groene Specht again. For the first time, we also brought the kids' bikes with us. This meant we could reach the Zandenplas in just five minutes by bike. Perfect for cooling off on warm days. The highlight of the holiday was, quite literally, the Klimbos near Harderwijk. It was an adventurous activity for young and old. After several climbing routes, I was happy to have both feet back on the ground. In the afternoon, we enjoyed the shady terrace and the hammock while the kids were busy on the trampoline or go-karting at Bospark De Vossenberg. This holiday at De Groene Specht really felt like coming home in the woods!

⏳ How long can I stay?
You are welcome to stay for a minimum of 2 nights (minimum 3 nights on weekends). Stay for 3 nights or longer and you receive a 10% discount on your stay.

Our lodge has 2 bedrooms and sleeps 4 people. A baby cot can be added for the youngest guests; it is generally suitable for children up to around 2 years old.

If you need to cancel unexpectedly, you can do so free of charge up to 7 days before arrival. If you cancel 7 days or less before the arrival date, 100% of the total booking price will be charged.
